Question about Letter from Employer for PR

Is the sponsor an EU/EEA or Swiss national ? To what extent is freedom of movement still restricted for same-sex couples in the EU ? Do you have experience of immigration bureaucracy in other European countries ? Please also visit EU/EEA page in the main website

Question about Letter from Employer for PR

Hi All,


I am about to apply to PR as non EEA national on the 9th of December wich is the date of the 5th anniversary of my civil partnership. My partner (italian) is moving to Spain in January and the letter we have from his employer here in London says that his last day with the Company will be December 1st, this leaves a gap of about 1 week from the date he leaves his current job and the date I will send the application. My question is :

-Can this 1 week gap be a problem falling 1 week short for the 5 years?
-Should I no include the letter?
